Slowbern grew out of my desire to maintain an impetus for composition while on the road in 2010. It has since grown into a collective of Philadelphia musicians and composers

Our book showcases a diverse library of music, spanning a ponderous Joe Henderson tribute, to straight ahead swing, to an impression collected from a dream about a place where people saw in four dimensions. Anything goes in this ensemble, and I hope that is reflected in the content here

We had the honor of being invited to teach clinics at the University of the Arts and Cherokee High School in Marlton, NJ
